Tribute of Lights Illustration

I created this illustration honoring the lives lost on September 11th, 2001 by depicting The Tribute of Lights memorial in lower Manhattan breaking through a storm cloud on a rainy night. Commissioned for a commemorative feature, the artwork captures the quiet strength and resilience of the city skyline. The limited color palette and decisive stroke are meant to evoke both both peace and remembrance.
