The Age Like A Badass Campaign
We were tasked with bringing Woody Creek Distillery to life all while disrupting the crowded spirits category by building a brand that challenges the competition. The last thing the spirits category needed was another celebrity spokesperson so we created aa fictional one. Thus was born Willie Creeks, played by William H Macy, who sang a song that celebrated bartenders and all of those who’ve made a difference during the pandemic.
The Work
We created a music video featuring Willie Creeks and a series of 10 digital shorts. The video appeared across social media and various digital channels, supported with paid online media. The advertising, social content, and lyrics in each of his songs evoke the philosophy of Woody Creek Distillery’s: you’ve got to give it your all, no matter the cost or your age.
